Chicken Salad Lettuce Cups

Sometimes, it's all in the presentation.  Even the simplest of meals can look elegant and extravagant when they are served with spectacular presentation.  Chicken salad lettuce cups are a perfect example. 






I made a batch of the chicken salad that I have been making for years.  Delicious but not out of the ordinary.






I spooned my chicken salad into bibb lettuce leaves arranged on a white serving platter. 

Just before serving, I sprinkled the salad with toasted, sliced almonds. 

There you have it, ordinary chicken salad turned extraordinary.
