Chocolate Sauce

Some people can tomatoes and beans.  Apparently, I can - ice cream toppings instead.

I made these huge jars of caramel sauce and chocolate sauce last week, not only for those inevitable summer ice cream cravings, but also to serve alongside some homemade brownies at Ryan's graduation party.

These are sooo easy to make that it'll make you wonder why you've ever bought them from the store.  They each have just 3 ingredients and take less than 5 minutes to make and they taste WAAAAYYY better than the kind that you can buy at the grocery store.

Today's recipe is for the chocolate sauce and tomorrow I will give you the directions for the caramel sauce.

Chocolate Sauce
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
1/4 cup butter
1 can sweetened condensed milk

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and melt on low.

Mixture will be thin at first and continue to thicken as it cools.

Store in a mason jar.  (Or just eat it while it's warm and gooey.)

Seriously the best chocolate sauce that you will ever eat.

Ciao!
