  2. There is a typo... You definitely need more than 1/2 cup of water in the crock pot... I knew better, but proceeded with the recipe as written... It was dryish, but flavorful!!

    1. I'm sorry that your pork came out dry. Perhaps it cooked a little too long. I find that 1/2 cup of water is perfect for 2 pounds of pork. As long as the lid stays on the pot the entire time - very little water should actually evaporate during the cooking process. I hope that you will make your own modifications and try it again though.

  3. I am a little confused. It says an hour before the pork is done to make the glaze, which takes 4 minutes to make. So when the glaze is done do I take the pork out and glaze and broil? Or do I let the glaze sit there for an hour before taking the pork out and glazing and broiling? Sorry I am new to cooking.

    1. The 1 hour is really just a guideline. You are absolutely right, the glaze takes just a few minutes to prepare and it does not get applied to the pork until afer it comes out of the crock pot. It can be made anytime up until the pork has finished cooking and it is perfectly fine to just sit until you're ready to use it. Enjoy!

  4. I found this recipe while looking for a pork loin recipe on pinterest. I used same ingredients, except I used 1-1 1/2 cups of water to cook the roast because I cooked it in an Electric Pressure Cooker (which I'm still new at) for 1 hour 15 minutes. Was worried it wouldn't be done but it was. I'm not exactly sure what size the pork loin was but it was on the small side. It wasn't until I was writing down the recipe in my "favorites" cookbook, that I realized it was actually for tenderloin. Still tasted great and perfect moisture! I haven't cooked with the vinegar or soy sauce much (I'm usually Plain Jane, boring). I wasn't too sure, while cooking the glaze. It didn't really smell that good but I continued on. I did remove the pork from the glaze before cutting so it would be soaked in it. TASTE GREAT! My husband actually dipped his in the glaze and said he liked it. If it makes it to the "Favorites" cookbook, it means it is a THUMBS UP! Can't wait to share this recipe with my mom.

  6. Made this following directions exactly and it was ssssssooooo dry but the glaze was delicious. I only cooked for 6 hrs and there was still plenty of liquid left so I'm not sure what happened. Is it possible my crockpot cooks too hot??
