Watermelon Lime Frosty
We harvested a record breaking watermelon from our watermelon patch recently. (It was a record for me anyway.) This watermelon weighed in at 36 1/2 pounds and it was 24 1/2 inches long from end to end.
Overwhelmed by what to do with all this yummy watermelon, I decided to turn some of it into a watermelon frosty. The ingredients in a watermelon lime frosty: a frozen banana, lime juice, agave nectar and of course, frozen watermelon.
Watermelon Lime Frosty
1 frozen banana
3 cups frozen watermelon
juice from 2 limes
2 Tablespoons agave nectar
1/2 cup water
Put all ingredients in a blender and puree.
These watermelon frostys were really good. They were quick and easy to make and they were a nice change from our usual smoothies. Who knew that you could make so many different things out of watermelon?
Ciao!
